Hey Owners - In May, as I was contemplating how much I actually enjoy serving as commissioner for the league, an owner made an interesting suggestion:

"You should really make a site for our league... And to host all of this content. It would be like our own version of the [R]inger but rooted in our league..."

After considering the idea - bouncing thoughts off a few owners plus my wife, who surprisingly endorsed the whole thing - I thought it actually made sense to have a site where the 125,000-plus words, dozens of columns, and all the interesting factoids that make our league unique could be housed.

With that, I dove in to a new endeavor to expand the experience of the GMRRFFA League, and today I'm actually genuinely excited to share with all of you www.riffrafffootball.com, our new league page nested on the Internet.

Take a peak - I've incorporated all relevant information about the league in the site, and will continually update it with content. To better serve all of you and make the site more beneficial, I'll expand pages to include things like weekly results, trades using future draft dollars, and this year I'm planning on DOUBLING weekly content. You'll now be getting recaps and analysis every Tuesday and league power rankings every Friday, all of which you can read or ignore. (Commissioner's Note: You may even see a Smeet mailbag again... I mean, maybe...)

I want owners to enjoy the experience as much as possible - but it will be open for general readership as well. I certainly don't anticipate more than like 8 people checking out the pages ever but did want to make sure you're aware. That said, the website is specifically geared towards you, the owners, and keeping the character(s) of the league as the real focal point. Furthermore, candidly, I never built a website before and I'm pretty sure it shows - the site is gritty, there will be technical issues and weird placements, but get over it. I know you wouldn't expect anything less from me but a wildly ambitious yet slightly flawed work product. That said, it still has some work to be done...

Take a look and let me know your thoughts. Curious for reactions beyond TLDR. At this point, I wanted to extend a special shout out to a few owners who helped guide this process (cc: jbr4vo, @hazexban) too.

Thanks and looking forward to an amazing 2018 season when we unveil the new title belt at Galen's coronation.
